Matthew Reed, L.Ac., is co-founder of Chinese Medicine That Works, Ltd. He has taught/assisted with needling skills, EXSTORE®, electro-acupuncture, and motor point seminars. Matthew has studied dry needling techniques for five years and uses dry needling almost exclusively in his busy clinic. His practice focuses on Orthopedics and sports medicine, including Anthony Lombardi’s EXSTORE® system of assessment.
Fernando Bernall, CMTPT, DOM, AP is a graduate of the prestigious Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and with multiple certifications, Fernando has over 20 years of clinical experience, and continues to explore ways to enhance his practice by expanding his knowledge of the pain sciences and manual therapies.
Today, Fernando is the director of the Sports & Orthopaedic Acupuncture of Saint Augustine, where he practices various styles of bodywork and needling techniques including motor point acupuncture, trigger point injections, dry needling, distal acupuncture, and ozone injection therapy.
He is a certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT), after completing the Janet G. Travell, MD Seminar Series, via Myopain Seminars. He is also a certified functional medicine practitioner.
Fernando Bernall has completed post-graduate studies in addictionology and is certified by the American College of addictionology and compulsive disorders, and trained at Lincoln Detox receiving his NADA certification from the founder, Dr. Michael Smith.
In this seminar, Fernando will lecture on the pain sciences behind the formation of trigger points and the current understanding of myofascial pain syndrome with an emphasis on proper assessment and treatment of trigger points with dry needling.
Adam French, L.Ac. grauated in 2003 and is a licensed acupuncturist practicing in Watertown, NY. Much to our benefit, Adam has assisted in several past motor point and needling skills seminars. He recently completed a neurofunctional acupuncture program at McMasters Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program covering, among other things, electro-acupuncture, neurofunctional acupuncture, and more. In addition to that, he has completed Anthony’s EXSTORE®/EA seminar, and all the motor point seminars. Adam will assist with Level 2 and 3 Dry Needling seminars.

89-60 days before the seminar: 75% of the cost of the seminar refunded
59-30 days before the seminar: 50% of the cost of the seminar refunded
29 days to 2 weeks before the seminar: 25% of the cost of the seminar refunded
Less than 2 weeks before the seminar: No refunds
