Course description and outline:

Cutaneous nerve electro-acupuncture can increase the treatment outcomes of your patients, and can significantly reduce pain and improve joint function.

Electro-acupuncture on cutaneous nerves works to:
1. Remove stimulus which causes dermatomal pain.
2. Improve range of motion in joints supplied by cutaneous nerves.
3. Increase entire limb flexibility and movement by treating cutaneous nerve compression sites.

This webinar covers noxious stimuli, neurogenic inflammation, the purpose o cutaneous nerves including anatomy, and how to treat the following cutaneous nerves.

Cutaneous nerves covered:

  • cervical plexus
  • supraclavicular
  • intercostobrachial
  • superficial radial
  • cluneal
  • lateral femoral cutaneous
  • anterior femoral cutaneous
  • saphenous nerve
  • articular branch of sciatic nerve
  • posterior femoral cutaneous
  • recurrent articular branch of peroneal nerve
  • sural nerve
  • geniculate nerve (branch of sciatic)

Dr. Anthony Lombardi is a 2002 graduate of the New York Chiropractic College and has been practicing acupuncture for 15 years. Upon graduation, he founded Hamilton Back Clinic and since then has become a private consultant to athletes in the NFL, CFL, and NHL. Over the past 15 years Anthony has given well over 100,000 acupuncture treatments. In addition to practicing, Dr. Lombardi was an instructor in the Comptemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University from 2004 to 2013, and he developed his Exstore system, which he currently teaches to doctors and practitioners the world over. He regularly writes and contributes articles on motor points in the Canadian Chiropractic and Chiropractic Economics magazines.
Dr. Lombardi teaches many seminars through Chinese Medicine That Works, and has a library of webinars on CMTW’s Acuvids.com
